Hot on the heels of its successful summer conference, Eventia is planning a combined Autumn Workout with a networking party - to mark the grand finale of National Meetings Week.

The former ITMA SummeRun has been reworked and given an extra twist, with the addition of an evening party open to the entire industry whether participating in the workout or not.

The event will take place on the afternoon and evening of Friday 6 October at Horwood House, a conference centre set in 38 acres of landscaped grounds in the Buckinghamshire countryside.

Following an afternoon of ‘working-out’ in new Eventia style, participants will stay on for the party of the season with the option of overnighting at Horwood House.

Said Eventia Executive Director, Izania Downie: “The ITMA SummeRun was one of the highlights of the events industry calendar, providing a fantastic networking opportunity and attracting participants from every age and fitness level, from a host of agency and partner organisations. It also created the means for us to collectively raise money for the Meetings Industry Meeting Needs charity.”

“This year, plans to hold the SummeRun in its traditional June fixture were railroaded by our conference arrangements, so we’re delighted to be bringing it back but with a surprise twist to help people get into shape for the busy autumn season ahead and of course the party in the evening is open to the whole industry whether they participate in the workout or not. What a fantastic way to finish National Meetings Week with the industry getting together to celebrate”.

Autumn Workout participants will pay a subsidised fee of £25 to attend both the workout and the networking party afterwards, and participants will be required to raise sponsorship to a minimum level of £30 per person.

Anyone wanting to just join the party will also pay £25 per ticket.  Eventia will be offering special accommodation rates at the venue for those wishing to stay overnight.
