The WorldWide Technology Watch is an exciting EIBTM initiative to identify the most innovative technology development or product breakthrough. This year Corbin Ball, CMP, Director, Corbin Ball Associates – Chairman, will again be chairing the awards: "I am delighted to chair the EIBTM Worldwide Technology Watch for 2006. This award and the MPI Technology Village @ EIBTM recognise the impact of technology on the meetings and events industry. I expect that this year will again have many strong applications and it is an outstanding initiative for the industry.” Last year, Vivien Virtual Event Designer (an advanced room diagramming software product) by Cast Software was voted as the overall winner of the EIBTM 2005 WorldWide Technology Watch competition due to its technical innovation. Judging takes place on 5th September 2006 in London. EIBTM 2006 will take place from 28-30th November 2006, at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona.
