Robert Moore, Managing Director, Agility Fairs and Events, was voted in as President, Exhibition & Event Association of Australasia (EEAA) at the Annual General Meeting on 31 May 2007 in Sydney.

He succeeds Robert O’Keeffe, General Manager, Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre who held the reins of the Association for the past two years and will remain on the Board of Directors.

“It is more important than ever that our Association remains relevant and addresses issues of concern and importance to our members,” said Moore. “Our agenda moving forward will be to listen to the industry and deliver programs which will enhance the exhibition industry’s standing and assist our members to operate professionally at all times.”

The EEAA Board of Directors comprises four representatives from each sector of the industry - organisers, suppliers and venues – who serve a two-year term. At the AGM the following Directors were confirmed:
