The Convention Centre, Dublin has secured another major international conference.

The International Statistical Institute (ISI) will be holding its biannual session at Dublin’s new centre in August, 2011.

The Central Statistics Office (CSO) of Ireland, at the request of the ISI, is responsible for the organisation of the conference.

This major conference will use all of the meeting and exhibition facilities at The CCD and up to 3,000 delegates are expected to attend the 5 day conference.

Established in 1885, the International Statistics Institute (ISI) is one of the oldest scientific associations operating in the modern world.

Its success can be attributed to the increasing worldwide demand for professional statistical information, its leadership in the development of statistical methods and their application, and in the collective dedication of its members.

The CCD will work closely with the Irish Central Statistics Office and MCI-Europe who have been appointed by the CSO to be the Professional Conference Organiser (PCO).
