Well-known comedian and stand-up comedy coach David Granirer is now providing his comedy course on a cruise ship! Imagine the hysterics as you finally do it…you’re performing in front of your closest friends and family (and a few hundred comedy-loving strangers).

You’re enjoying a wonderful cruise, visiting exotic and fun ports of call, savoring the many restaurants, bars and lounges, making contributions at the casino, and sharing your moment in the sun with your personal fan club…all on a new and exciting cruise ship!

There’s More! For those ambitious about pursuing a comedy career, the best performances will be submitted to Carnival Cruise Line’s Entertainment Department for consideration as onboard talent.

No one is better suited to leading this program than David Granirer, who has spent the last eight years teaching hundreds of people from all walks of life to become stand-up comics in his college course in Vancouver:

Registration for the Program is done online. There is a maximum of 15 students on each cruise in order to assure personal attention. A few pre-cruise assignments via email with David get you working on your material; then there are three 3-hour sessions with David onboard a fabulous cruise ship to polish your material and timing.

The Graduation Ceremony consists of performing a five-minute stand-up routine on the final night of the cruise in the ship’s lounge in front of a live (and possibly huge!) audience. Cruising For Laughs is an exclusive program, and according to Young, is a first in the cruise industry.
