MIAA - The National Meetings Industry Association of Australia have chosen Newcastle and Hunter Valley Wine Country to co-host Connect with Excellence 2003, the National Conference April 2-5, 2003.

The conference will be held in Newcastle and Hunter Valley Wine Country and is expected to attract delegate numbers of up to 600 from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and New Zealand.

All of the delegates will be buyers and suppliers with an interest in meetings and events. Members and non-members are encouraged to attend.

The location, just 2 hours drive or 1 hour flight from Sydney, has ensured strong numbers of enquiries for the conference so far with Web Hot registration just completed and the distribution of the brochure about the begin.

The organisers have chosen a safe, rural haven for the conference, which will also provide excellent opportunities for pre and post touring around the Hunter Valley Wine Country.

MIAA have produced an educational program not to be missed and the local host committee have come up with some excellent ideas for use of the destination that will ensure all delegates have a greater understanding of the region and the products and services available for meetings, incentives, conferences and events.
