The Board of Directors of Congrex Holding BV announced the creation of Congrex Americas SA based in Caracas, Venezuela and Panama City, Panama.

Congrex Americas SA has been established by Congrex Holding BV by acquiring two companies in Latin America, namely Congreca CA and Asocius.com CA.

These two companies are active in the Venezuelan and Latin American Marketplace in the fields of Conference and Exhibition Management, Association Management, and in related leading edge IT systems development and Technology Services.

Congrex Americas SA will have some 30 permanent staff members.

Congreca CA has been providing conference, exhibition and association management services to a broad base of association and corporate clients for over 30 years and was the first Congrex License Partner in the world.

The company handles a yearly volume of up to 20.000 conference registrations and abstracts.

Congreca CA, is a founding member of AVOCA, the Venezuelan Association of Professional Congress Organizers and of the Venezuela Convention and Visitors Bureau, and has been an active member of ICCA for some 25 years.

Asocius.com CA was founded in 2001 as the first association management company (AMC) in Latin America and currently provides encompassing AMC services to over 20 associations.
