Conferon Global Services (CGS), the US's largest meeting management and event services company, announced the addition of Dave Nolan as a new National Account Manager for the Eastern Division of its national sales group.

 

With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Nolan will be responsible for new client development throughout the state of Ohio and nationwide.

 

Prior to joining CGS, Nolan served as President and CEO of the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Greater Cleveland. During his decade-long tenure, economic impact from the tourism industry increased from $1.7 billion to $3.5 billion in revenue.

 

Prior to moving to Cleveland, Nolan served as President and CEO of the Greater Milwaukee Convention and Visitors Bureau for six years and earlier in his career, held various executive positions with Marriott Hotels including properties in Minneapolis, Tucson, Denver, Marina del Ray, Anaheim, St. Louis, Boston and Chicago.

 

Nolan’s outstanding sales results with Marriott earned him Director of Marketing of the Year and Sports Representative of the Year as well as the Marriott Mark Award for best public relations efforts of the year.
