Conferon Global Services (CGS) announced the addition of four National Account Managers to the CGS sales network.

 

Kathi Donovan, CMP joins CGS as a national account manager, based in St. Petersburg, Florida. Her territories will be Tampa, Orlando, Sarasota and St. Petersburg, and she will support new client development nationwide.

 

Donovan has more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including positions as vice president of meetings and program development for a physicians association, associate director of the Alzheimer’s Association in Chicago and manager of meeting planning departments with two Fortune 500 companies in Tampa Bay.

 

Currently Donovan is serving on the education committee for the Tampa Bay chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI). She previously served on a national committee for the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).

 

Diana Gamberini, CMP will also support new client development and handle sales for CGS as a national account manager based in Elgin, IL.

 

With more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality and meeting planning industry, Gamberini has occupied executive sales positions with Sheraton, Inter-Continental and Fairmont hotels. She once owned her own meeting planning business and has taught meeting planning courses at Harper College.

 

Gamberini served on the Society of Incentive Travel Executive (SITE) board in 1991 and has been an active member of MPI since 1993.

 

Joining the Conferon Sales Network central region as a national account manager is April Ellerbe.

She joins CGS with sales experience at KB Home, Estee Lauder and Millennium Hotel & Resorts in Durham, NC where she earned the company’s highest sales award in 2005.

 

Ellerbe will focus on sales in the North Carolina market and support the Atlanta Regional Office of CGS.

 

Donna LoPorto, CME joins CGS as a national account manager based in Superior, CO.

 

LoPorto has more than 17 years of experience in the event management industry including positions managing conferences and trade shows with Boston University’s Corporate Education Center and Sun Microsystems.

 

She is a member of the International Association for Exhibition Management (IAEM), the Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA) and the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE).
