Conferon Global Services (CGS), the US's largest meeting management and event services company, announced the addition of four new National Account Managers to its national sales team.

 

A former member of the CGS sales network, Teresa Christensen has recently rejoined CGS to focus on sales in the states of Montana and Utah, while also supporting new client development efforts nationwide. Christensen had previously been working with a software company in Utah to launch a worldwide events program.

 

Earlier in her career, Christensen served as the Associate Director of Sales for the Hilton Salt Lake City Center, where she earned two Excellence in Sales Awards, The Circle of Excellence Award, and Sales Team of the Year Award. She also held management level positions with the Marriott Convention Center, Provo, UT; Hotel Monaco, Salt Lake City, UT; and two Carlson properties in California. She is a designated Certified Hotel Sales Professional (CHSP) and currently resides in South Jordan, UT.

 

Jessica McLaughlin joins CGS to service the market in the state of New York and to support the Cleveland Regional Office. Prior to joining CGS, McLaughlin held Sales Manager positions with the Hyatt Regency and Adam’s Mark properties in Buffalo, NY as well as sales and marketing positions with Silhouette Optical, Clough, Harbour & Associates and Manpower, Inc., in the states of New York and New Jersey. A Magna Cum Laude graduate with honors from Russell Sage College, Troy, NY, McLaughlin currently resides in Amherst, NY.

 

Danielle Strong, CMP, joins CGS to focus on business development in the state of Nevada. Prior to joining CGS, Strong had founded an event consulting and planning company which boasted a large corporate and association clientele. Before that, her extensive sales career included serving as Leisure Sales Coordinator and Convention Services Manager for The Mirage Hotel and Casino and Director of Catering and Convention Services with Caesars Palace Hotel, both in Las Vegas. Strong is currently a resident of Las Vegas.

 

Christine Twyman joins CGS to service the Virginia market. Prior to coming to CGS, Twyman spent 13 years with The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Williamsburg, VA. Most recently, she served in catering and conference services management and prior to that, worked in sales for the Publications/Wholesale and Corporate Product Sales Division. A graduate of The College of William & Mary, Twyman is a resident of Hampton, VA.
