Conferon Global Services, Inc, the US’s largest meeting management and event services company, welcomes four new National Account Managers to its team of sales professionals.

Charlene Carter joins CGS from Carter Consulting Group, Inc., a hospitality-focused sales and marketing company she founded. A seventeen-year veteran of the hospitality industry, Carter has also held management positions with  several hotel chains including Hilton, Embassy Suites, Inter-Continental, Wyndham, Westin, and Crown Plaza. A graduate of Fort Valley University, Fort Valley, GA, she currently resides in Atlanta, GA.

Jana Filip comes to CGS from the Chateau Elan Hotels & Resorts, Sebring, FL, where she served as Regional Director of National Accounts – Southeast Region. Filip began her career in the hospitality industry more than twenty years ago in the conference center arena and later established the business travel industry for Regal Hotels International. Filip earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Butler University, Indianapolis, IN, and currently lives in Placid Lakes, FL.

Charlie Palermo brings to CGS more than 17 years of experience in hospitality management focused on the sales and marketing of various-sized properties in downtown, resort and conference center environments. Most recently, Palermo was involved in real estate development of multi-tenant facilities, one of which included the Park Inn Suites, an all-suite hotel in Hazleton, PA. A graduate of Penn State University, Palermo is a resident of Sugarloaf, PA.

Deadra Rahaman comes to CGS from American Express Meetings & Incentives, Dearborn, MI, where she was an Event & Incentives Manager responsible for account management, site selection, and event operations. With eight years of project management experience to her credit, Rahaman has also worked in special events management for Ford Motor Company and in marketing for CMS Energy, both in Dearborn. Rahaman currently resides in Detroit, MI.
