Brad Weaber, Executive Vice President Sales and Account Management for CGS, announced the new sales and account management organization reporting to him and key promotions within that organization. These changes follow the formation of the new executive leadership team announced earlier this month. Eighteen-year CGS veteran Teri Tonioli, formerly Vice President North Central Region, is promoted to Senior Vice President, Central Region. Tonioli will remain in The Western Region will be led by Gary Schirmacher, 10-year CGS employee, who is promoted to Senior Vice President, Western Region. Reporting to Schirmacher are the Jeff Fugate is promoted to Senior Vice President, Eastern Region. Fugate, formerly Vice President National Sales, will relocate to the metro DC area. The National Sales Organization is being restructured to more clearly focus on CGS’ target industry segments: Susan Lichtenstein, former National Sales Manager, is promoted to Vice President, Corporate Markets, and will lead the Corporate team. Terence Donnelly, former National Sales Manager, is promoted to Vice President, Trade Show Markets, to lead the team focused on the trade show marketplace. Bill Reed, former Vice President Mid-Atlantic Region, will lead the newly-formed Association Market team as Vice President, Association Markets. Blair Maury will continue to lead the Government Market team. Dee Johnson-Blakeney, a 14-year employee and former Meeting and Event Project Manager, is promoted to Vice President, Meeting Planning to lead the Meeting Planning Group. CGS is pleased to announce the return of Mike Godsey as Senior Vice President Market Development. Godsey has a very direct understanding of the evolving needs of our customers in a world which combines face-to-face meetings with powerful matching software. Godsey returns to CGS from strategic partner BD Metrics, where he was VP Business Development. His return to CGS represents the next stage in the development of this relationship as CGS continues to increases its focus on the exhibitor business segment. While continuing to work with the BD Metrics relationship, Godsey will also focus on partnering with key CGS customers, and building relationships and business with exhibitors. Godsey will also support CGS' sales and account management efforts with key trade show and association clients.
