Certain Software announced the latest update to Register123, a complete technology solution for professional meeting management.

Version 4.6 includes new features designed to meet Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance and increase security surrounding credit card transactions, as well as enhanced financial report types and other reporting features.

Renewed Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance

Certain Software is currently conducting an independent audit review to ensure that Register123 v4.6 meets the latest PCI data security standard, which replaced Visa's older Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP) as a compliance guide for the credit card industry.

New features have been added to improve data security for all Register123 customers, and to insure compliance with the more rigid PCI standard. Benefits include:

• Referenced Refunds - Refunds can only be processed against successful payments
• New User setup and password controls increase security of the Administrator interface
• Administration audit trail tracks changes made to security settings

Register123’s registration payments interface has been modified to increase security surrounding credit card refunds, and the user interface was streamlined to simplify the process of accepting payments for all methods, including check, cash, wire transfer, credit card.

Financial Report Types

The new reporting feature gives planners increased budget management control and the ability to create custom reports on all registration financial data, both within each event and across all events. Planners can now assign General Ledger Account numbers to fees, charges, payments, and refunds, and create expanded Personal Documents for customized invoices and confirmations.

Expert Report Features

Certain Software has expanded the scope of “one-click reporting” available in Register123, eliminating the need for users to manipulate data or make format changes in Excel^® after running reports. User-defined columns and custom sort orders eliminate the need to re-format reports, and Changes Reports option can list the fields that were changed with their old and new values.

New report and personal document filters allow users to combine AND with OR statements for increased control over returned data.

Program Module Enhancements

Register123 v4.6 provides greater flexibility for multi-session events with complex agendas, including the ability to create an unlimited number of custom program types, four additional Program Sections for registration forms, and the ability to show registrants the inventory and number of available spaces for program items with limited inventory.

Another new feature allows planners to cancel program items or room reservations from multiple records with just one click.
