Certain announced Certain Registration Version 4.8, bringing a new name along with the very highest levels of security available today, further enhanced integration for third-parties and improved user controls.

Register123 has been renamed Certain Registration. The new product name, Certain Registration, reflects Certain’s commitment to delivering innovative technology that encompasses all aspects of the registration experience.

Maintaining the highest levels of security protection against data theft and fraud, Certain Registration Version 4.8 gives organizations reinforced confidence in knowing their online registration transactions both protect sensitive customer information and guard against potential non-compliance financial penalties.

Certain Registration Version 4.8 meets the requirements of Payment Card Industry Level 1 Compliance (as outlined by the PCI Security Standards Council including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) through reconfigurations to credit card access, password functionality, user permissions and security systems.

PCI Level 1 Compliance is the very latest and highest level of security for online registration.

User access modifications in Certain Registration Version 4.8 increase flexibility to engage third party vendors, such as travel agencies or housing managers, without compromising overall attendee data privacy.

Organizations can create custom “roles” at the account level and assign their users to “roles” with report-specific access permissions, completely customized to their business. This enables organizations to grant third parties, such as travel agencies or housing managers, limited access to views and reports to see only pertinent attendee information.

Enhancements to user interface increase user access controls and boost ease of use Certain Registration Version 4.8’s streamlined interface improves the ability to manage large numbers of users with segregated data access.

This improvement gives the ability to manage which users can access sensitive data like registrant credit card information to minimize the risk of conducting business online. In addition, improved controls for user accounts, custom data, e-commerce and support boost ease of use in the renamed “Setup” area of the application (formerly named “Administration”).

“We strive to respond to our customers’ needs for world-class online registration technology solutions. Our priorities with Version 4.8 are on fulfilling our customer’s need for a highly secure e-commerce environment, meeting corporate demand for limiting data access when integrating third parties and making a user interface that is intuitive and easy to use,” says Chief Software Architect, Dr. Rick Borry
