The Bellevue Convention Sales Group, representing Meydenbauer Center, Bellevue’s hotels and Seattle’s Eastside, announced the hiring of Ms. Kristin Berry as Convention Sales Manager.

Ms. Berry has served Meydenbauer Center as Business Development Manager for local events since early 2003.

Berry’s position of Convention Sales Manager supports Bellevue’s goal of attracting more regional and national convention business. Berry collaborates with local hotels to market Meydenbauer Center and the city of Bellevue as a preferred destination for mid-sized conventions and meetings with 200 to 800 peak room nights.

Meydenbauer Center currently hosts some 24 regional and national conventions each year, typically for groups of 300 to 3000 people.

Located just nine miles from Seattle, Washington, Bellevue is home to many of the state’s leading high-tech and financial companies as well as 2,000 hotel rooms and world-class shopping and restaurants.
