The British Association of Conference Destinations (BACD) is holding its 2006 AGM & Spring Convention in Leeds, on 7th – 9th June 2006.

 

This year’s theme will be ‘People, Partnership & Profit’ and the programme will demonstrate how to make partnership more effective, exploring the tangible benefits that good partnerships can achieve.

 

The three day convention will be hosted at The Carriageworks, a modern venue which was originally the home of the ‘West Riding Carriage Manufactory’ and has now been transformed into Leeds’ best new theatre and conference centre.  Over the past few years Leeds has firmly established itself as a regional capital, and is now one of UK’s fastest growing cities.

 

BACD chair and head of business tourism and membership for the NewcastleGateshead Initiative, Sue Crawley, comments:
