The August Jackson Company announced that Bill Bunkers has joined the agency as Vice President and Managing Director of its Chicago office.

In this capacity, Bunkers will manage the Company’s operations in Chicago, and lead several of its key account relationships. He brings more than ten years experience in similar capacities at other companies.

I have known Bill for more than a decade, and have seen him recruit and mentor tremendous talent, and provide sound counsel to a wide variety of clients.”

Bunkers added, “August Jackson creates and produces events and experiences to help its clients connect with their critical audiences. There is a tremendous need in our part of the country for a company like ours to offer these services cost effectively.”

Most recently Bill was Vice President / General Manager at ProActive, Inc. where he led the company in transforming its business through new service offerings, developing a creative practice and building relationships with several new clients.

Prior to that, Bill had an extensive tenure at Jack Morton Worldwide, encompassing both client-service and senior management roles during a time of tremendous growth and change for the organization. As Senior Vice President & General Manager, he led the Chicago and Minneapolis offices.
