The June issue of Association News, America’s most-read magazine for state and regional associations, will feature a cover story on holding meetings in the Mid-Atlantic States, including Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and West Virginia.

A separate destination feature story will include information on holding meetings in Colorado and Wyoming. The issue’s regional focus will be on meetings in Western Canada, including British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. In its CEO Leadership & Management section, the issue will explore “Risk Management for Associations.”

Association News is quite simply the best way for hotels and convention bureaus to connect with the critically important state and regional association community,” said Timothy Schneider, publisher of Association News.

“Any hotel or convention bureau that wants to book more state and regional association meetings should make plans now to advertise in our June issue.”

In addition to the full-color editorial coverage of the Mid-Atlantic States, Colorado, Wyoming and Western Canada, the June issue of Association News will feature the semi-annual Convention Centers Directory and a special advertorial section on meetings-friendly hotels and resorts. The June issue will also be distributed at HSMAI Affordable Meetings West in Long Beach, California.

The readers of Association News generate more than 59 million hotel room nights annually and use cities and hotels of all sizes for their meetings. State and regional associations are also the best source of business for destinations looking to fill their need dates. The space reservation deadline for the June issue of Association News is May 1, 2006.
