The Board of Directors of Congrex Sweden AB announced the appointment of Antonio Gozzo as Managing Director of the company. Antonio, 41 years old, has been employed at Congrex Sweden as Director of Sales and Marketing since January 2006. In this position he has lead an outstanding sales performance for Congrex Sweden winning a number of prestigious Swedish and international contracts. Antonio also worked intensely in the team which concluded the recent acquisition of SKD Euroconf at the end of June 2006. Antonio studied Business at the Stockholm School of Economics. He has a long experience from the Corporate sector from positions in Corporate Finance and Equity Sales at Enskilda Securities and Carnegie in Stockholm and London. Within the scope of these positions, Antonio worked with top management of a number of large Nordic corporations and leading European fund managers. Antonio replaces Dr Layth Bunni as MD in Congrex Sweden. Dr Bunni was appointed the CEO of the Congrex Group in late 2005. “We are pleased to have Antonio on board with us as part of our leadership team. He has shown great skill and commitment since he joined Congrex Sweden at the beginning of the year and I look forward to working with him to continue the development of the Congrex business in Sweden and for the Group as a whole. We wish him good luck in his new position” Dr Bunni said. "This is a very exciting challenge and I look forward to leading Congrex Sweden in the continued work to develop and broaden its strong position in the Swedish and international congress markets” Antonio Gozzo said.
