The Brisbane Marketing Convention Bureau is gearing up for a busy start to the new financial year following the creation of a new Manager role and appointment of a new Sales Executive. Brisbane Marketing Director of Business Development and AACB Vice-President, Mr Paul Lewin said he was delighted to formally announce the promotion of Ms Annabel Sullivan to the role of Convention Bureau Manager and the appointment of Ms Tennille Carr to the role of Sales Executive. Ms Annabel Sullivan – Convention Bureau Manager Ms Sullivan, who joined the Brisbane Marketing team as Sales Manager (Business Events) in February 2006, is well equipped to take on the added responsibilities of the Convention Bureau Manager role. In her 18 months with Brisbane Marketing, Ms Sullivan has been an integral part of the Bureau’s success story – contributing to several major bid wins and overseeing the Bureau’s participation in a range of projects and events including AIME, ECQ, TABEE, Brisbane Marketing roadshows, familiarisations and site inspections. Adding further weight to the appointment, Ms Sullivan has almost 20 years experience in the business events sector having previously worked for Voyages Hotels and Resorts (representing 17 of their properties for conferences and incentives) and P&O Australian Resorts. Ms Tennille Car – Sales Executive Ms Carr comes to the Brisbane Marketing Convention Bureau with seven years experience in the events industry. Having just left Dreamworld’s award-winning Events department, Ms Carr brings considerable experience in event planning for the corporate, government, association and industry sector to her Sales Executive role. |
