A New And Greener Future For Lynton Cooper & Eclipse Conference Management

Home

Lynton Cooper will be moving offices to Welby House, 96 Wilton Road, SW1 on 6th August 2007.

They will be followed in late August / early September by the newly acquired Eclipse Conference Management.

As part of Western & Oriental plc, the two event management companies will occupy a dedicated floor for the group’s corporate event, marketing and business travel services.

With the groups past acquisitions and plans for future acquisitions, a bigger office, fit for the 21st Century, is now considered a necessity. Spread out over five floors, the office is exclusive to W&O plc, with the following companies under one roof: - Western & Oriental Travel; Mediterranean Experience; Key 2; Kids in the Med; Ranch America; Ski Dream; Hawaiian Dream; Tropical Locations and South American Experience.

This increased amount of space will benefit all including suppliers, clients and staff. In addition, the property comprises a spacious room dedicated to training agents, complete with projectors and WIFI, a perfect space for presentations.

Paul Evans, Director of Marketing, Lynton Cooper says “We’re very excited to be joining the other companies within the Western & Oriental portfolio at Victoria. The ability to share resources and maximise our presence as a significant travel group within the events market, will strengthen our position, bringing greater services, cost efficiencies and added value opportunities for our clients. Our commitment to CSR will be reflected in every aspect of the move and our efforts to demonstrate a meaningful and effective policy for Lynton Cooper, W & O plc and our clients”.

And what for the environment? W&O plc feels passionately about monitoring their carbon footprint in every aspect of business and felt that the new office space would bring them the opportunity to become as Carbon Neutral as possible.

The office has been stripped out with 70% of the debris being recycled; Energy efficient light bulbs and appliances are being installed with small ‘A’ rated fridges being used plus eco dishwashers to reduce

consumption of water.

The new energy efficient water system being installed is made of recycled components. Many more initiatives are being considered as part of a CSR project team set up within W & O plc.
