Delegates at this year’s AsiaPacific Incentives and Meetings Exhibition will be the first industry representatives to receive copies of Brisbane Marketing’s hot new Meeting Planner and Unique Venues guides.

Scheduled for launch on day one of AIME, the 2008-09 Brisbane Meeting Planners’ Guide and 2008 Brisbane Unique Venues Guide will be available on request from Brisbane Marketing staff at the Team Brisbane stand 1212.

Brisbane Marketing Executive Chair, Mr Ian Klug said that with Brisbane’s popularity as an international business events destination growing by the day, AIME would provide the perfect backdrop for the launch of the city’s newest meeting and venue guides.

“Brisbane has so much to offer the international market and for the first time ever we’ve tailored our guides to give them an international focus,” said Mr Klug.

He said both guides were thoroughly researched, visually-engaging pieces designed with the professional conference organiser and meeting planner in mind.

“The 2008-09 Brisbane Meeting Planners’ Guide is the ultimate planning and reference tool and stands testament to Brisbane’s growing reputation as a business events destination worthy of international acclaim,” said Mr Klug.

“It’s a neat, user-friendly, comprehensive package of city facts that takes in everything from venues and accommodation options to touring and leisure recommendations.

“The 2008 Brisbane Unique Venues Guide is also a crowd pleaser and the perfect companion piece to the Meeting Planners’ Guide.

“It’s an inspiring collection of those venues in and around Brisbane that are a little left of centre. From the unique and unusual to the utterly charming, these are the places and spaces that are special to this part of the world.”
