ADME Invites DMCs World-Wide To Join The Pre-Eminent Organization For Destination Management Executives

Home

ADME – the Association of Destination Management Executives - has begun a campaign to expand their membership base, both domestically and internationally.

Now in its 13th year, ADME’s membership has grown steadily, numbering about 250 of the top Destination Management Companies, primarily based in the Western Hemisphere.

Recently, ADME has introduced a series of initiatives aimed at continuing its goal of increasing the professionalism and effectiveness of destination management through member and industry education, while shining a spotlight on the value a DMC brings to association, corporate and other event and meeting planners.

Among these are an ongoing series of Webinars on a variety of important subjects and the introduction of the Accredited Destination Management Company (ADMC) designation.

The ADMC will assist the meeting planning community by identifying those DMCs who have attained the designation through strict qualifying standards and criteria indicative of the best destination management service providers.

“ADME has now become a very mature organization and its member benefits have increased significantly over the past few years”, says Fran Rickenbach, CAE, IOM, Executive Vice President of ADME.

“We believe that membership in ADME is essential for all DMCs in this ever-changing environment. The tools we provide and the support available to DMCs through ADME helps them compete more successfully”.

When a DMC joins ADME, they immediately have access to a “Members Only” section of the ADME web site which includes a Template Gallery of documents, forms, articles and other important information which are free for ADME members.

There is also a bulletin board which can only be viewed by ADME members where questions and answers on daily issues are exchanged. Many other resources are available, as well as an annual conference which features dynamic educational sessions and excellent networking opportunities.

To join ADME, go to www.adme,org and click on the box “Join ADME”. For more information, contact ADME’s Director of Membership – Michael J. Lyons, DMCP at 267-514-2620 or mlyons@gepphilly.com
