Access to Experts Goes Global

Home

Marlene Sholod, President of Miami Beach-based speakers bureau, Access to Experts, recently attended the World Diversity Leadership Symposium held at the United Nations headquarters in New York.

One of the experts that she represents, Anita Zanchettin of Aperian Global, was presenting, and while there, she signed up the Symposium’s producer and diversity expert, Douglas Freeman.

That same week another of her experts, Charles P. Garcia, a widely-recognized Hispanic leader, successful entrepreneur, and author of a Wall St. Journal bestseller, presented the opening keynote at the North American HR Executives Summit.

Before Access to Experts developed its reputation as a resource for speakers, trainers and consultants who specialize in diversity, its strong suit was sales and marketing experts.

“Driven by our increasingly global economy, diversity has become a global initiative within corporations. It’s gone from a “feel good, right thing to do” to a profit-driven mandate being addressed, not just by human resources, but by all business units within corporations. It’s not surprising that sales and marketing executives are calling us again,” explains Sholod.

“To complete the circle, the last time I was at the U.N., more than a decade ago, it was to personally design and deliver a program on how to work in a multi-national organization!”
