The China Incentive, Business Travel and Meetings Exhibition (CIBTM) will offer, for the very first time, a Pre-Event Tour of the capital city of Beijing as well as a tour of the Olympic Park and various Post-Event Tours as part of this year's Hosted Buyer Programme.
CIBTM will take place from 8-10 September 2009 at the China National Convention Center (CNCC) in Beijing and is co-hosted by the Beijing Tourism Administration (BTA).
The show, dedicated to the Business Travel and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences Events (BT MICE) industry, is expected to welcome over 300 Hosted Buyers.
The CIBTM 2009 Pre-Event Tour of Beijing will take place on 7th September. It will include a visit of Tian'an Men Square and the Forbidden City, home to the Imperial Palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty.
A tour of the 'Bird's Nest' Olympic Stadium and Water Cube will take place on Wednesday 9th September. This Olympic Park Tour will last for an hour and will showcase the Beijing National Stadium and the National Aquatics Center - both venues were designed for the 2008 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The Pre-Event and Olympic Park Tours are only available to international Hosted Buyers. Three different itineraries have been carefully crafted for the Post-Event Tours, two of which are in conjunction with Kempinski Hotels.
Hosted Buyers can choose between one-of-a-kind tours visiting Wuxi and Suzhou, Sanya or Zhang Jia Jie - all of which include a city tour and hotel inspections. Zhang Jia Jie is in the north-western part of the Hunan province and is one of the new Chinese destinations exhibiting at CIBTM this year.
