Yasser Noman, Head of Sales India & Middle East and Head of Destination Arabia, will additionally take on the responsibility for Destination Africa as of 1 January 2010.
In this function, he succeeds Thomas Goosmann, who will return to Headquarters in Zurich to take on a new senior position within the recently established Procurement & Production Unit of the Kuoni Group.
Yasser Noman has been with Kuoni for over 11 years and has held various positions during this tenure.
Since 2006, he has been Head of Sales India & Middle East and in July 2008 he took over as Head of Destination Arabia. Destination Africa will be added to his area of responsibilities as of 1 January 2010.
Within Destinations Arabia & Africa, Samir Tabbah, CEO Desert Adventures Tourism, Frank Glettenburg, Executive Director for Private Safaris South Africa and Namibia as well as Thomas Iten, Executive Director for Private Safaris Kenya, will report directly to Yasser Noman.
Thomas Goosmann will return to Zurich in order to join the Procurement & Production team. He will assume the position of Hub Manager Switzerland. In his new role, Thomas Goosmann will be reporting directly to Rolf Schafroth, who heads both units, Destinations and Procurement & Production.
