The Event Production Company showcases BCX's new campaign at Govtech

EvPro-SAThe Event Production Company found themselves in Durban again during September, this time working alongside client Business Connexion (BCX) at the Govtech Exhibition for three eventful days.

This year, Business Connexion opted for a Bronze Sponsorship at Govtech, Government's Annual Technology Exhibition, which has been hosted at the ICC Durban for the past two years.

GovTech is a value-packed learning opportunity strategically developed to meet the current needs of ICT professionals and decision-makers from all spheres of government.

"Business Connexion  used this opportunity to showcase their recently re-launched logo and tagline "Connective Intelligence" to their public sector clients and the IT industry as whole," says Karen Ashwin, The Event Production Company MD.

"Connective Intelligence means bringing two different elements together to create something extraordinary - and the stand was designed and constructed to illustrate this concept," explains Project Manager, Annie Koster.

As one of Africa's largest black empowered ICT companies, Business Connexion is currently undergoing a large scale transformation to improve its operating margin.

Known as the Revitalisation Programme, the new business model seeks to ensure that Business Connexion becomes a more agile, responsive and customer-focused organisation that is driven to perform, operate profitably and is sustainable over the longer-term.

Once again, The Event Production Company team were impressed with the enthusiastic attendance by some 260 Durban guests at the sparkling Business Connexion after-party held at Café Vacca Matta.

"Utilising a three-pillar awareness campaign (save the date, teaser and invitation targeted at a carefully selected list of invited guests), we did our utmost to ensure a great turnout by the right people and stakeholders, in order to facilitate excellent business networking opportunities," says Koster.

Aside from three twenty minute futuristic sets by dancers and stiltwalkers in keeping with the "Connective Intelligence" theme, guests at the party were entertained by local Natal DJ Muntu, as well as Metro FM's Wilson B Nkosi.
